Jo Hagan, CPA

Jo Hagan is the visionary and founder behind Barefoot Accounting, PA. Jo has a degree from Auburn University with a major in Finance and a minor in Accounting, and in 1998 earned her CPA. With the need for flexible employment to care for her 2 young children, Jo decided to become an entrepreneur and started her accounting practice. In 2002, Barefoot Accounting became incorporated, and soon after Jo and her family relocated to Jacksonville, Florida. As time passed, her children grew, and her business evolved to support others heading down a similar path of balancing work and family life. As a mom, wife, and business owner, Jo can relate first-hand to the struggles of starting a business, growing a business, relocating, and re-establishing a business – all while raising a family. Jo’s passion is centered on helping people understand – and use – their financial resources to be successful in both life and business.
